At Chicago Growth Mindset we inspire confidence...

Group therapy

Community care is extremely powerful. Listening to different perspectives, and learning from each other can help us heal, even during the most difficult challenges. Participants may be struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management issues, or chronic stress.  Maybe you are struggling with relationship problems and don’t know how to manage the stress.  While it’s easy to think you are stuck in your pain, note you are not alone. Hardship is a common human experience shared by most of us, regardless of our unique experiences. Together we can navigate and overcome life’s challenges with the proper mindset and support.

Sometimes emotional issues, personal problems, or traumatic events can overwhelm you, causing you to go about your days feeling lost and alone.
In fact, many people find that it helps to relate to others who have shared or are going through similar experiences.
Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy that aims to help people manage mental health conditions or cope with negative experiences and behaviors. Group therapy can have a very powerful effect on people, many individuals feel they gain much greater insight into themselves when they are in a group setting.

Our group therapy model allows participants to achieve a greater level of self-awareness,  develop communication skills and socialization skills, and allows clients to learn how to express their issues and accept feedback from others.
We provide a safe space where participants can support each other.
Being able to positively contribute to another person’s life allows an individual to feel more positively about themselves.
It also creates an environment for people to develop healthy coping strategies and interpersonal skills.
